Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

We need to teach people the difference between being uncomfortable and being unsafe. Because the discomfort of the safest people is endangering the most vulnerable, all day every day.

Trump is trying to kill the one space (universities) where people can gain factual knowledge about how their world works and discern between rhetoric and reality.
Fulbright board resigns citing interference by Trump administration
All members of the board that oversees the U.S. State Department's Fulbright Program, which facilitates international educational exchanges, have voted to resign over alleged political interference from President Donald Trump's administration, the board said on Wednesday.

Trump officials' showings at hearings today were disasters, but it doesn't make headlines bc the media's default assumption is that Rs are clownish rascals. But if Dems didn't know what was happening at their agencies or what habeas corpus is, it'd be front page news. This is a key media asymmetry.

It’s actually insane that there’s an argument happening here over whether the plane grift is “corruption”

What are we even doing?

There’s nothing “blasphemous” about Trump’s post. As a Catholic, I’m not “offended”. The Pope isn’t God, and Catholics make Pope jokes all the time.

The problem is an American political system that has collapsed into a “look at me!” carnival that sees trolling as leadership.

I just learned that the entire press team at the FDA was fired last week. The *entire* press team.

It's difficult to grasp how bizarre this is.

To wrap my brain around the idea, I made a list of things the FDA is responsible for, and that reporters now have no one at the agency to ask about... 🧪🛟

I look at the event calendars of SO many colleges and universities-- the live-streaming events at CUNY are on another level.
If you doubt me, go to JustDropIn.io and filter by host institution. @cuny.edu is killing it.
