Hmm... Isn't it just the updated term for politically correct? It's the equivalent of, "You think you're smarter and better than everyone else." Which has always been a way to silence people who advocate for change. But I think those who use it like this would probably agree that it replaces "PC."

I might point out that it's a term appropriated from Black Americans who used it to mean awareness of prejudice and discrimination against them. But that might be seen as woke. 😆

I think "pencil crayons" is an Ontario thing. At least, that's what I called them when I lived there as a child. When I moved to Nova Scotia, kids thought that was funny.

Oh, I dunno. I like the transparency and the realism. As they said, nothing always works, but it works more often than the alternative (though I suppose they might have substantiated that claim with some stats or something).
