Well, at least T-rump helps us feel self-righteous and modest - in a proud sort of way. "Nothing so soothes our vanity as a display of greater vanity in others; it makes us vain, in fact, of our modesty." -Louis Kronenberger

Once a man has tasted freedom he will never be content to be a slave. That is why I believe that this frightfulness we see everywhere today is only temporary. Tomorrow will be better for as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life. -Walt Disney

"One trouble with living beyond your deserved number of years is that there's always some reason to live another year. And I'd like to live another year so that Nixon won't be President. If he's re-elected I'll have to live another four years." (wait for it...)

Klobuchar: "What the president has done is taken a horrific crime that occurred in DC and went 2,400 miles away to Somali & somehow indicted an entire group of people, 80k of them in my state, as well as all naturalized citizens. This is what he does. He tries to make people hate each other."

To seek understanding before taking action, yet to trust my instincts when action is called for. Never to avoid danger from fear, never to seek out danger for its own sake. Never to conform to fashion from fear of eccentricity, never to be eccentric from fear of conformity. -Steven Brust

Imagine if someone a few weeks ago told you that Trump would call Marjorie Taylor Greene a “traitor” and drive her out of the House AND praise Mamdani as a guy who will do a good job as mayor. What would you have said to that?
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

Trump invests in corporations that he's supposed to be regulating.

Trump cuts deals with autocrats to advance his family's real estate business.

The list goes on.

We must not become numb to this blatant corruption.

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick.

Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

I think we all know the orange stain is a liar and writes chaos lies, so I recommend you not read below. I know most of the liar-in-chief's statements are lies, but I don't like the fact-check requirement feeling I get when reading his garbage.
