I found this birding book along the side of the road on the Tamiami trail in the Everglades on 8/25/25. It is so well loved with sightings going back decades. If you're a birder (I am not) please spread the word and hep me find the owner so they can be reunited

If I were a curator at the Smithsonian faced with a Trumpist review of the items in my care, I'd take the audit stooges into the deepest part of the unsorted acalyptrate fly collection and have them start there, drawer by drawer, until they die of old age having gone through half of them.

If this were Biden, this would be playing on Fox News on a loop with interviews of psychiatrists being asked to comment on it.
Reporters shouted to ask what he was doing up there and he said he was "taking a little walk." He said something about the White House ballroom and made some gestures but it's not really making a ton of sense yet. Normal stuff

More than a decade after the start of a marine epidemic that's killed billions of sea stars, researchers have discovered the bacterium responsible for Sea Star Wasting Disease (SSWD). This is a key step toward recovery for the 20+ species affected from Alaska to Mexico.

It is seriously dangerous territory when Trump fires anyone who doesn't cook the books for him.

The entire economy hinges on the accurate, nonpartisan data we get from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Republicans need to join us in fighting to protect the integrity of BLS.
Trump fires BLS commissioner after weak jobs report
Without evidence, Trump called the data "rigged" and implied that BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer manipulated the numbers "for political purposes."

Welp, they're going to do it. They're revoking the 2009 “endangerment finding” that declared greenhouse gases a threat to public health and allowed the EPA to regulate emissions.

The next time Democrats are in charge, they need to pass a law to regulate greenhouse gases.

Have you heard about the Roadless Rule? It's a policy to protect forestland across the country that Trump is repealing.

A legislative fix will take time—the best way to fix this is to speak up now. Help get the word out.

We need to pressure Republicans to reverse course.
