It seems impossible to replace the essential services cut by the govt on a community level.
But the govt only started providing many of those services because the Black Panther Party was doing it so effectively that the govt got scared and wanted that power.

It's important to get on the phone with your Congresspeople today, if you possibly can, and protest Elon Musk's takeover of the government. I actually got a live person at my representative's office. *And* do all the other things you can. Protest in person, if you can. We can do this thing.
