Also to people saying “it’s not confirmed” “we didn’t see OG Q” like take a fuckin hint. They are really trying to tell us this is the new Q just shy of saying it outright. TBH if I were the creative director and saw people argue abt it I’d be coy too just to be an asshole bc it’s so obvious

It’s a really great way to solve this problem of Q being such a beloved character but also Q’s storyline being more than finished. Give us the new generation of Q. I think Rhys Darby did great as a Q and honestly tapped a bit into that excitement of a new Doctor that I lost with the recent DW stuff.

And we get the confirmation of who this us by a small voice cameo of John de Lancie, we see Junior Q and not OG Q which primes us to understand that the new Q on the block is Junior, and Junior had fundamentally different questions for humanity…

So Junior Q never really understood it. He came to understand duty and responsibility (kinda) but never really the emotional drive. So thats what he does in this ep. He wants to see how humans express love in this “ultimate” way and fabricates emotions from existing feelings…

The writers did a good job of giving us a parallel to TNG’s first episode. In TNG the John de Lancie Q (OG Q) condemned humanity for it’s mistakes. Then in VOY we get his son, who is taught all Q learned, but Q was never that emotionally human he had moments but generally he was emotionally a Q…

Been dealing with a lot and finishing some level edits and such has taken longer than anticipated. This is my own fault but at least it’s almost done.

I have read it and came to see for myself how Thor had lied about it. I won’t get into any intentionality debates because for now thats irrelevant, but know that whats on the petition is what it is, nothing more nothing less.

After the move I’ve just been on limited energy trying to deal with everything that comes with this big of a move. I’ve honestly been slow in trying to get the V/V demo ready for steam review, but I’m glad I’ve at least found some media to help me find my creative spirit again
