That beautiful lady in the center is Professor Carmen Balthrop. She was head of voice at University of Maryland and a fabulous soprano, teacher and mentor. She passed away the beginning of the first year of my masters at UMD. Great woman.

Unfortunately not many of her albums are on vinyl and that’s upsetting me and my homegirls!

This is STILL my fav album of hers! I wish they would press it to vinyl already!
