"There are many who do not know they are Fascists, but will find it out when the time comes.” — Ernest Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls

I don't understand the hate. The garden's been around way before this was a wealthier area. We don't have to sacrifice a beautiful spot that's open to everyone in order to get people into affordable housing especially when there are other options.

You and democratic leadership should be platforming Americans who can tell the public what higher premiums will mean for them and the impact the ACA has had on their lives. Put civilians on TV interviews. They make better messengers than politicians on this. Same goes for dealings with ICE.

To be clear, Mills deserves a ton of respect for her role in pushing back against Trump but I'm tired of politicians who selfishly refuse to cede power to the younger generation. We are here in no small part due to Biden's refusal to step aside as promised. Let's not keep making the same mistakes.

Susan Collins has got to go but Janet Mills is not the person for the job. Maine — and the Democratic Party — needs vitality and new leadership.

Read in the NYT about your support for 77 year old Gov Janet Mills. Why? What will it take for you and the democratic establishment to realize that you're the reason so many of us are refusing to give to the DNC. A person nearing 80 has no business running for office. Support Graham Platner.

I will not donate to the DNC again until @kenmartin.bsky.social
resigns as Chair and @schumer.senate.gov resigns as Majority Leader. Get it through your heads that we are DONE with the current leadership.

State sponsored terror. That is what is happening.

If I had school age children I would be making plans to leave the country. This regime wants to take us back to the turn of the 20th century (or further) in more ways than one, and RFK's stance on public health is both damaging and shameful

Anytime I have ever made a comment in the NYT that we are in the middle of a Second Civil War, they don't publish it. Finally some ink is being spilled on this brutal reality. It's well past time democrats meet fascism with the ruthlessness it deserves.

Just another manufactured crisis for him to "solve" like an arsonist putting out a fire. He is an extortionist holding the world hostage. And let us never forget that this "deal" will be paid for by consumers and hit middle and low income people the hardest. What an asshole.

Never surprised by those two. Always with the performative handwringing and clutching of pearls before doing what they always do. Predictable in their cowardice.

Thank you. I keep telling my friends this whenever midterms are brought up as a way out of this nightmare. Still possible? Maybe but "uphill battle" is a gross understatement. Plus, that guy ain't gonna leave in 2028 unless the quarter-pounders catch up with him first

Graph does not surprise me in the least but what is its source? Thx

- Religious exception rulings apply only to the plaintiffs.

- Environmental regulations continue to be enforced despite rulings against them (just not against plaintiffs).

- and on and on.

The left has to use this decision, not just criticize it.

It'll be chaos, but that's what the Justices get.
