A jury in Tallahassee, Florida, has convicted Donna Adelson of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and solicitation of first-degree murder for the 2014 contract murder of her former son-in-law, Dan Markel.

I’ve never seen a judge ask a defendant if they’re OK with their lawyers’ cross-examination plans like Judge Stephen Everett did with Donna Adelson in her murder-for-hire trial today.

I’m impressed by the multiple camera angles in the Adelson murder-for-hire trial live stream. And it’s Florida, so we get to see even the gallery filling up.

A jury in Memphis, Tennessee, today acquitted a man accused of planning the murder of rapper Young Dolph.

Hernandez Govan was declared not guilty on murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

A jury in Atlanta today acquitted a man of all charges related to the fatal shooting of a sheriff's deputy, but the judge who read the verdict initially said they found him guilty.

"I apologize for my mispronunciation," Fulton County Superior Judge Melynee Leftridge said.
