I just want 'ai' to go away. The simultaneous widespread poisoning of knowledge; attempt to end-run professions that cultivate critical thinking; and sucking the joy out of everything while ramming unwanted technology down our throats is so exhausting. I just can't anymore.

Now we’re in a world where your way of connecting is digital, but said digital connections aren’t so much frayed as they are covered in barbed wire that you have to intentionally and repeatedly move out of the way.

Tech played a big role in helping - Skype, MSNM, AIM, Google Chat, and Facebook helped us become more connected in said disconnected world, and then the companies decided growth was what mattered, so they started interfering with and exploiting what increasingly became the way most of us connect.
