A brightly coloured umbrella
I need crutches to walk so don’t have a spare hand for carrying anything else!

Thank you! It’s working too well now with double downwards arrows 😬
It would be great if there was a way to know what’s causing high glucose without having to be a detective🕵️

Yes! In the 70’s & 80’s I was told to treat a hypo with a small chocolate bar 🤷🏻‍♀️ then have follow up carbs such as a sandwich Different times indeed!

Hi Laura I’m Meg from Gloucestershire Type 1 for 46 years using TSlim HCL. Really don’t like snow & ice as I need crutches to walk and it makes things pretty scary! 🩼 ⛸️ 😬

2. Torch
3. Safety pin
4. Reading glasses
5. ‘Lucky’ penny - daren’t remove it just in case it is actually working!

Diagnosed ‘78, had test tube & pipette before urine strips. I bought my first meter in about 1991, had some awful hypos back then and had lost my hypo awareness by the early 90’s. Those early years were rough & like you I’m sure they contributed to my loss of awareness.

Same here Jimmy, I was either hypo or I wasn’t and that was it, no instant way to find out what was going on 😬
Pretty alarming looking back to pre glucose testing days compared to 24/7 data today.
