Saw them from the plane! What a treat!

Was down on the harbourftont in Halifax this week. Tonnes of people walking around, and nothing open. One of those viscious circles, nothing open people stop coming.Seemed like a missed opportunity, the Christmas market is getting set to open soon...But all in all, a very walkable city to visit.

Wasn't familiar, looked it up and saw a reddit with some kid asking how he/she (since they don't like new pronouns) could set up a turning pont in their high-school. Scary stuff.

They will hate themselves for it later. Those same UCP base have brought back measles, will rip down mountains, and seem to think they can afford to pay for private healthcare in their highest years of need since most are over 50.

Grab some polysporin itch relief at Shoppers when you get back home. It's the blue lable bottle. Goes on clear, and by the time it dries the giant lumps mosquitos give my husband disappear. We bring it everywhere things bite.

It's not worried about a door still bring there type of weapon. Heat detection works through doors.

Anyone else seeing it's off balance because it's missing the weapon it was designed to carry? Russia doesn't spend money unless it is a war machine. This isn't some cutsie soccer playing robot.

Danielle Smith will privatize Alberta Health. It's already happening. She will sell and then we'll be forced to buy the services back at huge inflated insurance costs (that the province pays later). The public system we have provides it for far less cost and ensures fair access for all.

In St.John's they said they "couldn't plow the snow" if they added trees. This was a poor excuse since I've lived in other cities that had lots of snow and also had tree lined sidewalks.

On our drive to the airport for a Canadian destination, the cabbie mentioned he hasn't dropped any passengers going on leisure trips to the US. People only go if they have to for work he said, so his fares are down a bit since usually more are flying south needing that cab to the airport as well.

I recommend taking the ultimate roadtrip across Canada following the TCH. It's kind of like the thing every Canadian should aim to do at some point. We live in such a beautiful and diverse country and I can't help but feel a lot of pride when I think about this place we call home.

8 pedestrians hit in Calgary since Friday, less than a week. Here it's the giant trucks that will kill you, can't see their eyes, and it doesn't matter what colour you are wearing.

We call it "word vomit".

Wondering if it is the beneficial stimulus of 3D reality vs. 2D virtual worlds we stare at most often? Like scratching a good itch, our brains are built to move through the world not stare into one, so walking feels good. Could be why both environments work with attentive and thoughtful walking?

Again, wondering why we want to put more people closer to more pollution. City bus and train transit corridors have more particulates. I wish I didn't have first hand experience living in one, as I hope our air filters are mitigating the dangers. Buses are the worst, they don't maintain them well.

It's as optimistic as you can get these days about an armed uprising...

When those Trump voters on SNAP who will also experience a natural disaster or effects of climate change this year eventually put the pieces together, it's not going to be pretty.
