Adrian Bott's phrase: "'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party" inspired the musician Chesca Leigh to write a delightful earworm song on the phrase, now popularly deployed against ppl burned by hateful stuff they voted for.
Against a leopard print background is an image of Adrian Bott's iconic phrase: "'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party" This was originally in reference to Brexit; subsequently catapulted transformed into a ubiquitous, euphoric earworm after inspiring the musician Chesca Leigh to write a song around the phrase. It's now used in response to anyone being upset by voting for something they hoped would only harm others.

I inherited a bunch of turtlenecks from my Dad & after reading this charming history of turtleneck fashion of the last 50 years, might be ready to start wearing them. Maybe even offer a few from the cache to my brothers.
