Birch polypores are common but cool! This one is still fairly young and porcelain looking. They start kinda bulbous. Can you eat them; kinda? They’re very bitter and tough. It does have medicinal properties. The famous mummified Iceman had these in his bag probably for medicinal purposes.

band camp (4ish hours away) for a total of 8 hours.
I have already eaten what doctors would refer to as a “heroic and irresponsible” amount of insanely garlicky mussels.
