New #OpenAccess paper! Does augmented reality messaging lead people to take more aquatic #InvasiveSpecies prevention actions? Not in this case... but we have thoughts and it certainly still created some engaging conversations. Check it out! #BioInvasions

Photos have been rolling in for our Zebra Mussel Safari program and whenever I see photos like this come in, I'm grateful I don't have to count these by hand. 😂

Our workshop venue in May had a resident pup that joined us for most of the workshop. The best! It was particularly fond of the lunch break and waited eagerly for any bits that fell off the edges of people's plates while they loaded up. ;)

I live in a house divided. Today was mismatch sock day for spirit week, so one of my kiddos borrowed one sock from mom’s drawer and one sock from dad’s drawer. 😂

One of the reasons I love my job? The people. (maybe not surprising considering the Myers-Briggs type I just learned I am) Completed a 2-day staff development. Everyone brought treats to share including foraged foods from some forestry colleagues! It was so fun to try all the different flavors!

I got an incredible gift from some colleagues today. Short version: it’s 40 invasive plants.
Long version: I turned 40 this summer and my mom and sister reached out to people from all my circles (work, college friends, family, local friends, etc) and asked them to send me 40 things. 1/🧵

Been digging into evaluation data a lot the last few weeks. This visualization was a lot of fun to see come together. After taking our aquatic invasive species core course, we asked folks how they were feeling about AIS issues in MN. There were some mixed feelings, but there was a lot of positivity!

Hi! I'm Megan. I'm an Extension Educator focusing on aquatic invasive species issues in Minnesota. I mostly post about my work, cool things I see outside, and sometimes glimpses from my personal life unrelated to lakes and invasive species. I'm still figuring this place out. ;)
