“ABC7 spoke to Pertissue Fisher, a woman who lives in the building. She said ICE agents took everyone in the building, including her, and asked questions later….’They was bringing the kids down, too, had them zip tied to each other.’”

It can’t happen here, you say. But it is happening.

This imagery is the kind of thing you see in video games to let you know you’re in a totalitarian city or country.
The irony/idiocy of this banner currently draped on the Department of Labor building is not lost on me, given all the federal workers he's forced out of their jobs.

Hopkins is where my mom had her cancer treatments, giving us an additional 18 months with her, and where they helped us let her go as easily and lovingly as we could ever hope for. The Hopkins team are some of the most dedicated, brilliant, kind people on this earth and this is absolute bullshit.

Just a quick observation that amid all the turmoil created by the Zelensky meeting, this got completely ignored: A Chinese citizen paid Trump $50 million for the SEC to drop its charges against him.
BREAKING

The SEC has just halted its fraud prosecution of Justin Sun, a Chinese national who has put more than $50 million in Trump's pocket since November through the purchase of crypto tokens from a Trump-backed company, World Liberty Financial.

While watching that horrifying, globe-shifting exchange with Zelenkskyy, I couldn't help but think about what a deliberately staged reality-TV moment it was, with two people ganging up on one and screaming a classic, totally petulant reality-TV accusation: They hadn't been thanked enough.

Someone please ask him to name the members of any other Cabinet. He can start with the first one because it was so small.

And will Russia’s mass abduction of Ukrainian children persuade him to change his mind as to which country carries the blame? That would be good but I’m not holding my breath.
🧑‍🧒‍🧒🇺🇦🙏 Donald Trump says he can convince Putin to return children abducted from Ukraine.

🧐 The American president called the situation "quite tough." According to him, he only learned about the crime yesterday.
