The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

Just heard about the big beef plant in Lexington NE closing. This will be my 4th big shipper Tyson has shuttered. Each of the others was gutted as it shut down so it couldn't be reopened under new owners. For a company whose business is to make food, they sure don't seem to like making food.
