Star Wars Kinect memes aside, Kinect was worth it for The Gunstringer alone. This game had a chokehold on me and I wish there was some way to port it and have it work with a light gun/pedal setup for PC.

Missed it by a day, but 25 years of my favorite game. Highly implore checking out Majora's Mask at least once. For a game given only a year of development time (which I don't wish upon anyone), Aonuma and team created something really special despite the limitations and expectations of the time.

This one hurts. He was unapologetically himself and pushed to have games release in his vision yet taking in the feedback of the players. He had his sensibilities he stuck by and I appreciated that. Definitely an iconic personality of the industry.
