Christmas 2015. A 15 year old me who was getting REALLY invested into Xenoblade (looking at you chuggaaconroy) asked for a Wii U and a copy of X, which would make it my first Xenoblade game.
Today is that day X was released in the west.

I can’t justify XDE being eligible for the game awards, especially since the og X WAS nominated for best RPG in 2016, BUT P5R was up for RPG only three years after base P5 won, so by Geoff’s own logic X SHOULD be nominated as it’s one of the most critically acclaimed RPGs of 2025
