Storks have three sizes, small medium and large
I would assume deep sea mining would be much worse. Land based mining can be inspected to a degree by anyone. Anyone can take a water sample downstream. Not deep sea

Rust is awfully close. It does have restrictions but it allows the very least runtime over head to maintain safety.

Ubuntu usually just installs. I’ve fought with drivers in windows way more than Linux

AI is great for research or even almost working example code. But it’s not at all a replacement for knowing how things work. It’s like claiming a phone app can turn you into an industrial electricIan. All fun and games until the Hiroshima level arc flash

Watched a heron for a while it was perfectly still for a long time. Then a fish was in the beak, moved almost too fast to register

Start a share holder revolt to make her Tesla CEO. After Elon loses most of his shares to a margin call it shouldn’t be hard.

Once upon a time he effectively attacked climate change. This at a time when the press and politicians could hardly say the word. Yes popularizing EVs against much resistance deserved that.

Now he has abandoned all of that and deserves to be expelled.

Please don’t confuse 15 minutes of your medical degree with dedicated study by someone that cares.

Atypical cystic fibrosis symptoms. A dozen doctors including TWO geneticists and THREE teaching hospitals failed. I saw a risk in a DNA sequence, googled signs and symptoms recognized them as present.

The GOP is doing nothing about it, thus owns it and all of its consequences.

Is AI even suitable for any of this? So far DOGE’s “AI” seems to be grep

$100,000 a month in cloud fees for something that could have been easily run under Rust on a raspberry PI.

We are still accepting the “throw hardware at it” attitudes of the .com days. Save a bit on software development by using easier languages, but pay 10x in cloud and IT salaries.

Talk to a data recovery place a reformat is not necessarily complete. They should pay for it as they should have backed it up prior to upgrade!

Does Canada have any Visa programs that fit this? I suspect you’d have many eagerly taking it up if so. Last I checked immigration was quite difficult, the short cuts only for the rich.

Having done professional development for 40 years I generally agree. I’ll add one more user level aspect. We are destroying software by having humanly perceptible render time. I wrote and ran a BBS system on a commodore Vic 20. It was faster

No excuses with a many CPU super computer.
