After 5 years and some technicalities, I can finally say that I contributed a chapter in the multi-volume “Manuscripts, Plants, and Remedies in the Mediterranean Traditions: Studies across Disciplines for Alain Touwaide” (DeGruyterBrill). You can find my chapter in this 👇 volume. 😃😃

My name is Jack. I woke daddy up at 3:10am, then woke momma up at 4:20am. Momma fed me but I decided to start fighting enthusiastically with my sisters. I then decided at 8:30 am to puke all over the house and now I’m causing trouble biting, showing my belly, and chewing my feather toy. 😸

At a workshop this afternoon & received great advice from someone I look up to, “find the interest…passion…drive it, even if it’s a stupid question at first…mine was ‘why are ancient doctors so weird?’.” Guess my diss. idea isn’t so stupid after all, “why can’t we prove ancient contagion theory?”
