How is this funding 8.3m appointments ? The investment so far has mainly been to cover cost uplifts and population rises .

I did say “are” out of hope ! If not though you do wonder what the impact on services will be as it’s a significant cost to deal with without additional funding

Being married to a GP who handed back her contract - the reason was cuts in funding not a failure of the partnership model. They had people but no money. Appreciate that’s not universal but you need to address funding issues. That’s a main reason why these smaller good practices don’t exist

An interesting long read … but it doesn’t consider a major issue in that funding and organisational change issues also impact on why the partnership model may not seem to be attractive. Funding stagnation increases the perceived risk.
