⚖️ A few weeks ago, someone on Bluesky was surprised to learn that artists can remove their works from the blanket licenses granted by ASCAP/BMI. The attached letter shows how it was just done by Eminem to prevent Vivek Ramaswamy from using and/or performing Eminem songs on the campaign trail.

it is unfortunately predictable but nonetheless I despair at the lack of urgency on climate action given everything we've seen recently - seems to have hardly rated a mention by politicians here (aus), and in large parts of the media
