Robert Kuttner reported of Chuck Schumer’s involvement two days ago. He knew.

If he can’t lead them, and make them fall in line, then he shouldn’t be the caucus leader.

Director Bhattacharya "Let's fund emerging investigators"

Yeah, who's the idiot running NIH who allowed 15% or few fewer early stage investigators be funded in FY2025 compared to FY2024?

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

This is a beautiful new locker room at St Pius in Kansas City. They are a private religious school that accepts taxpayer vouchers for partial tuition.

Anyway, the kids at the public school down the road from me learn to run track when they go to track meets — they don’t have a track of their own.

I love this timeless article from Steven C. Reinhart about teacher moves in the math classroom that help get kids doing more of the communicating (instead of the teacher). One of my absolute favorites: hybridalgebra.pbworks.com/f...

It’s amazing to me that we still have people cherry picking what they think qualifies as research-based best practice and castigating @nctm.org based on those biases. Seems a good time to remind everyone that NCTM runs the top tier research journal in the field. #iteachmath

Trump & Russ Vought are attacking federal workers—illegally firing them during the shutdown to advance their MAGA agenda. But they’re losing in court!

Alongside leaders like Rob Shriver from @democracyforward.org, we’re fighting back—and winning.
