On an immunological note, promiscuous expression of reproductive tissue antigens in the thymus might also suggest there is a need for tolerance against these tissues, albeit earlier in life than most cancer patients. What are your thoughts?

Baking in marginal selection of antigens to prevent the adverse loss of reproduction seems a minor inconvenience compared to stopping someone from having kids full stop.

Saying reproductive tissues are fair game relegates the patient to an object rather than a living breathing person. If that cancer therapy destroys someone's child bearing or producing capacity that is not a good therapy.

Intriguing - maybe worth throwing into the mix that CTAs might need to be sex dependent. Probably not a great idea to give anti-testes CARTs to blokes and anti-placental CARTs to women.
