One of the many things I loved about the movie was how the incarcerated are humanized – as opposed to the usual depictions. The recent movie "Sing Sing" also looks at how performance – in the case of inmate performing Shakespeare – is amazingly restorative. Art will save us!

I vote for “Young @ Heart,” a beautiful riff on aging, community & creating something greater than the sum of its parts. Follows a chorus of elders as they retool songs by everyone from Sonic Youth to James Brown. Incredibly movie and life-affirming.
