City planner. Reconstruction Democrat. Housing is good and fascism is bad.
They need to maintain roughly equal population in order to be fair and democratic - so they redraw after every census. Downtown has way more people nowadays than could be contained in a single ward so it’s impossible to put all of downtown in Ward E.

I worry the Pakistanis that voted Ali/Khan won’t follow Ali to Solomon/Zuppa. Locking up the Desi vote is Bogg’s only shot here.

I worry a bunch of western slope townies Ambrossi convinced to go for him will fall back to Healy instead of voting for Ephros, even if Ambrossi enthusiastically endorses Ephros and helps him campaign west of Central.

Across the state Jack overperformed in ultra-wealthy areas compared to Trump. The Somerset Hills are no exception here.

Also worth noting Jack’s a Raritan Borough guy and used to represent much of this district in Trenton.

PEI seems like a pretty hard place to get qualified civil servants to move to.

Brennan and Zuppa have always been close. I hope Brennan will help Tom get the support of Solomon.

I think it’s possible Spanberger just low key sucks way more than Sherrill does.

Boomers couldn’t get past the Israel stuff it seems.

This seems less of an ideological thing and more of a “House vs Senate” thing.

Yes. But that worked by challenging from outside.

It’s the norm in NJ for your local county party to endorse primary candidates - it’s incredibly rare for them to lose and we succeeded this cycle in several districts.

He’s not wrong though.

I am actually involved in anti-machine Dem politics in my area and we got a progressive assemblywoman elected in my district. But you don’t just “join the party” here.

Laughs in New Jersey

Why would Dems not be denying UC regardless?
November 10, 2025 at 8:26 PM
But why make the effort to win those Republican moderates at all if the race isn’t close?
November 10, 2025 at 8:05 PM
Explain? Why wouldn’t Span want progressives in her fold too?

Not sure the FAA will allow a supertall in downtown Jersey City, but will be cool if they do.
