But tbh I absolutely **love** system agnostic lore/settings resources, and I actively seek them out.

Missing this insight tends to be linked to limited exposure to different RPG systems. If you've only ever played one or two closely related systems, those systems have facilitated **all** your play, and that makes it hard to understand how different systems can influence gameplay.

If you want to cry "compelled speech", please identify someone who might have been compelled to speak, and what speech they might have been compelled to engage in.

If folks don't want to use preferred pronouns, they can decline to speak. They can decline to refer to whomever has pronouns they find objectionable. Or they can structure their speech to avoid using pronouns.

@aricohn.com - this is a pretty silly brief. Forbidding school children from misgendering their peers is no more compelled speech than forbidding them from calling their peers "dick face" (or any other slur you might want to sub in).

I hate to repeat myself, but FIRE's position is perfectly clear. The 1A grants the right to misgender trans kids.

Does the 1A grant trans kids the right to use their preferred pronouns, or to communicate that preference? On that question, FIRE has no comment.
