I wouldn’t be shocked to see them look at Blake Coleman or someone of that nature. They need some continuity on Evans line. Let them be trusted more as a unit, rather than parts.

Weird but tough.

I knew he’d lie there about a minute. Get up with the coach’s assistance, get polite applause, then play the next shift. Is a bruised hip on a 13 year old an actual bruise ?

Of course.

Left mid 2nd for a U15 game. Parents were worried when my g son crashed into the boards after a breakaway. I told them he was made of rubber. He’d be fine.

I feel like they want 20-14-13 long term but now and then, they get too cute, and it takes Slaf out of his game. I wonder if it was also a way to get Bolduc going, who really hadn’t played that well.

Thought he easily played his best game today.
November 29, 2025 at 2:12 AM
He’s been pretty solid since mid last year. I’d say he’s on schedule
November 29, 2025 at 1:57 AM
I saw 11&17 on for a late shift, Evans jumped off for Suzuki, but the wingers stayed on. There’s a pattern but I don’t quite have it yet.

Gord, sticking the pin in myths since the turn of the century. Next he’ll be saying that where I sit has no influence on games.

I’ve always felt that if you’re going to go 5 years on a player, by God let’s do with those most likely to be alive. How I’m not a GM I’ll never understand.

Neither was McCoy but he knew his shit. Good lord, Jim

If his agent put it out there that he’d take offers on 3 or 4 year deals, the number would climb into the high 20’s, at least I think they would, so I’m good.
November 28, 2025 at 4:47 PM
More and more I see that he and I have little in common.
November 28, 2025 at 4:38 PM
I was devastated. 12 year old me thought it was in the bag.

It’d be like your mid 70’s Thursday night team taking on the touring Soviet Red Army .
November 27, 2025 at 9:47 PM
If only JC Tremblay was still around.
November 27, 2025 at 7:57 PM
Probably right. Probably a Robidas preference.
November 27, 2025 at 6:54 PM
I was thinking that they used the lob more last year, was going to ask if anyone noticed that. Maybe I’m not noticing.
November 27, 2025 at 6:52 PM
The coach talks about connectivity, I guess the lack of it is what we saw
November 27, 2025 at 6:40 PM
And the forwards, esp the top 2 lines were making soft plays high in their zone, cheating a bit on the exits.
November 27, 2025 at 6:39 PM
True. I see it on the pk, but mid game line changes now and then, maybe it’s closest on the bench ?
November 27, 2025 at 6:37 PM
I had friends encouraging me to apply for the show, but after I saw Liam, ….., there’s a difference
November 27, 2025 at 6:34 PM
He had a trivia show on then Ch12 which I believe had a young Liam blowing away the competition. I may have something wrong but that’s how I remember it.
November 27, 2025 at 6:33 PM
I did notice last night that mid line change he was on with Dobson. I’ve noticed that this year, the d doesn’t always change r for r or left for left. Never noticed that in the past. I’m sure there’s a bench reason for that but it’s curious to me.
