‘Tories will keep retirement age 65, allow seniors to earn $34K tax free’
Remember Harper’s similar promise in 2011, that he broke, & raised the age of eligibility for OAS to 67?
Harper, that just endorsed Poilievre?
Think PP will keep his promise?
He voted to let Harper break his promises #NeverPP

Great news! And fantastic opportunity for a pro science country to get in on this one. Hey, Canada!?!

Doubt the Big Cheeto will back this … with the 4 letter word mRNA attached. 🙄

Feels like America would choose a monkey in a suit over any woman in a presidential race.

I’d like to think that Canada is better, but I’m not so sure any more. 😔

There's a certain irony to the fact that one of the reasons for this staggering increase in sickness absences is encapsulated by the title of the article. Just for clarity: sickness levels are higher because we're in a pandemic.

Sickness rates at NI councils soar by more than 50% with levels now higher than during pandemic
Sickness absence levels have soared by over 50% in two years across Northern Ireland councils with more staff off in 2022/23 than during the pandemic, according to a new report.

Bluesky is officially “open” now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybody’s timelines. So block and give no oxygen.

As predicted, the plateau before the holidays was temporary. Festive gatherings and JN.1 have us back in a nasty wave.

This wave is very different from the somewhat predictable patterns of the last couple of years.
