OK, who narced?
One year I decided not to cook anything for our orphan lesbian gathering and spent the morning volunteering serving meals at the UU church and just showed up to the friendsgiving with some prosecco or something. No one cared that I didn’t cook and it was the most chill for me.
An ex & I would just go camping every year. If I did cook, I would always make some kind of interesting bird, so stuff like duck, goose, pheasant, guineafowl, etc. Some years everyone would get their own individual small bird, like game hen, squab, etc. I don't do anything now & it's fine with me.
Actually in the spirit of this conversation, what’s a decision you made about a past Thanksgiving holiday that really paid off? I think people often feel trapped by their lives. Sharing our experiences can liberate us from that sense of claustrophobia.
