No flu vaccine pending. COVID vaccine only for a few. I’d postponed getting my 9yo her first Gardasil vaccine after our pediatrician assured me that she “couldn’t imagine” such a safe and well-studied vaccine being made unavailable, but I’ll be making an appointment for her first shot tonight.

The flu came for us. Tamiflu meant one bad day of muscular aches and fatigue for me, but we have been to the doctor many times, including a trip to the ER, for M. For caregivers of the afflicted who might not know: Tamiflu can be taken prophylactically.
