It ended up a busy and crazy end of summer and start of semester (I have FOUR classes...eep).

BUT I also got this thing finally published.

74 pages in Hesperia. Not bad for my first ever peer-reviewed article in a major journal!

You can check it out at muse.jhu.edu/article/970046

This bunny has been on the front yard living his best life for a few hours this morning.

We're at the point where no one is allowed to leave the house for fear of disturbing his nap.

My general rule is that if I come across an Armani store in a town I've never been to before, I buy a tie.

Thanks, Glasgow!

Dear @colmancreative.ca, I just went for a walk in the rain, during which I chugged a monster, got a coffee, and now have this at the event desk in Newcastle.

I may be able to see through time shortly.

I remember a time I subscribed to the EJ for the very reason I could read news without having to roll my eyes constantly at whiney columnists who long for the glory days of 8-tracks.

How things have changed.

And since we're all Classicists here and like old things...

Yes, that's it in a box. And there's also my Cube, sports Walkman, and copy of AoE 2

Here's the rig before and after.

Even the outputs were nicely protected and plugged, and I really liked the little Asus logo they put on the securing tab.

Not decked out in RGB, but it's very classy.
April 12, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Yeah. It's pretty. And that's *before* all the protective plastic was taken off.
April 12, 2025 at 3:11 AM
No, thank *YOU*, Asus.
April 12, 2025 at 3:09 AM
So I did something I haven't done since 2010 or so.

Can you guess what it is?

I'm not much of an Apple fan, but Pedro Pascal is fantastic, and him lip singing "you're perfect...now work it" is a delightful boost to the day. @kikkiplanet.bsky.social has seen this, I hope.

I haven't even had the capacity to follow the negotiations amidst trying to stay above water this semester.

But, hey, the atrium is open!

The National Post can go fuck themselves.

Someone at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research did *not* do a lit review on the acronym "GPS" when considering what to call themselves.

I wasn't even aware they had rebranded. Huh.

🤷‍♂️

Every time I see this add on my Insta feed, I feel for the dog.

All he wants in life is a curated ice dodecahedron, and by golly, some day he'll get one!
