I absolutely want to know the percentage of all my purchases that are tax, VAT, tarrifs, whatever. Give me the breakdown like the nutrition facts on a box of cereal

Only four days left to join me in backing White Meat
Beneath a quiet park in Philly lie the bodies of hundreds of enslaved people (true). What if, one night, they all came back from the dead as zombies but only ate white people? That's the premise of my new film, White Meat. Will you help make it a reality? whitemeatmovie.com

You know a really handy cognitive trick for being less wrong? Training yourself to ask not just "can x lead to y" but "how much of the time does x fail to lead to y"

Seems simple but will save you a world of grief I truly believe

Here's a Black History Month fun fact: Washington Square Park in Philly is named after George Washington, an inveterate slave owner. What if the enslaved people buried under that park came back as zombies and ate white people? Back our Kickstarter to find out. www.kickstarter.com/projects/dav...

I’m still upset at Apple for dropping Dashboard from OSX. It’s been over five years and my muscle memory still tries to bring it up all the time.

My web development students don't even know what files they own are. We have to review file structure every assignment that requires JavaScript or CSS.

They live out of their downloads folder like it's a van by the river.

It’s crazy what a solid breakfast will do to my perception of a hotel. I could have to sleep on a damp sack of metal washers and still give a five star rating if you give me a decent omelette after.

All these years as a non-smoker on team “legalize it,” I never considered having to wonder whether I smelled like weed because I took the Broad Street Line to get to work

A test suite failing unexpectedly on a project I just recently joined is a good thing - I can learn something.

A test suite __passing__ unexpectedly on a project I just recently joined is nerve wracking and immediately flairs my imposter syndrome faster than anything else.
