This is Kyo! He was at the shelter for the first 8 months of his life cause no one wanted a black cat that came by till I found him. Love seeing more black cats getting love!

Toast and Kyo both do this while I’m at work trying to get stuff done 😂 ridiculous

Our oldest pet is Hemingway. Unlike the rest, we weren’t the ones that rescued her. My late mom found her on the side of the road all beat up and decided I would adopt her 😂 Drove her all the way from TN to NYC to me. This cat his thumbs but not the brains to use them 😅 very cuddly but a total bully

Banjo’s the only dog we have, but he fits in well. All of our pets are rescues, but he came from the worst situation of them all. He was found in a shed with no heating or blankets with 12 other dogs. No food and only filthy water. Despite what he survived, he’s the happiest lil guy.

Kyo is the perfect contrast to Toast. He’s the smartest pet we have but terrified of everyone and everything except our family. So sweet that when he’s annoyed at the other cats, instead of using claws, he just aggressively bathes them 😂

The youngest member of our house, Toast. She’s…..unique. Friendly but real dumb. It’s a really endearing combo 😅

Thought I’d surprise Kyo with a prize from the crane game place in town. He’s not enthused 😅
