How long before Trump appears on American money or it is discussed at least.

Pinning this for the future.
Questions for the next budget come earlier every year.

Well done Sky for this.

It feeds the narrative you want, knowing full well 12 months is a long time, who know what the shape of the country will be in 12 months time.

Labour lifted 450,000 kids out of poverty yesterday but according to Beth Rigby thats bad for Labour and as for the BBC, nah not even going to mention it.

Totally normally country, where the national broadcaster and biggest news channel clearly distain this Labour Government, not even hiding it.

I did the budget calculator, so I am little worse off, not massively.

Lifting half a million kids out of poverty, seems like a good price to pay to me.

Plus sides to today: Two-child benefit scrapped. Largely progressive tax implications. Good market reaction. No big spending cuts. Nightmare prospect of cutting funding to net zero etc avoided. It's a left-wing budget. Those who say there's no difference between Labour and Tories are bananas.

Not a bad budget however not a great budget.

Mansion tax and Gambling tax welcomed.
Two Child Benefit Cap being Lifted is very much welcomed.

The economy is not as bad as we are being told

The continued freeze of income tax thresholds not great. Not suprised though.

Having a great first day as the OBR's website manager. Got all of the content queued up as a scheduled post, ready for a big day, but all of the work is done now.

Now before I put my feet up, time to take a big gulp of water and check the latest news.

In fact, the OBR did it just a few minutes ago.

All the supposedly progressive people saying 'Nigel Farage's racism doesn't matter. His fans love it'.

It matters whether the leader of the party leading all the opinion polls is an outright racist. It matters if he called black people 'wogs' and said 'gas them' to Jews. Not everything is a game

Woah.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Still can't quite believe that "I only said 'gas the Jews' in a non-hurtful way" was the strategy Nigel Farage opted to go for

When I asked Nigel Farage's spokesman last week, he flatly denied that his boss had ever racially abused anyone.

Now Farage is only saying he never did so in a "hurtful way".

Does he think there's a non-hurtful way to racially abuse someone?

"Have I ever tried to take it out on any individual on the basis of where they're from? No. I have never directly really tried to go and hurt anybody".

If the press is giving Farage such a platform it must, as ITV News has done, scrutinise. That this isn't being reported prominently is astonishing.

This is actually journalism. Asking actual questions. Sky News and BBC take note.

I would like to see him questioned about his taxes, who actually bought his house in Clacton, Nathan Gill and Russian ties and why he has multiple jobs whilst being an MP.

Just for starters...

The man should be in jail.

At the very least jobless and black listed.

The Daily Mail pad him for a weekly column, why? He should be ignored.

He would have been our worst Prime Minister if it wasn't for Liz Truss crashing the economy.

So, Trump is now suddenly OK with the Epstein files being released if Congress votes for it?

After so much resistance to it.

I'm sorry, they spent the last 8 months scrubbing those files.

No Republican, right wing conservative or billionaire who supports Republicans will be in those files!
