I've changed ISPs from AussieBB to Neptune (on the way to 2Gbit). Their customer portal has a feature that outputs the interface config ('show interface TenGigabitEthernetX/X/X') on their BNG. I think I'm having a nerdgasm! Some of the other options are nice-to-have's too...

While looking at the Optus fleet, Optus D2 has gone to heaven (graveyard orbit) during August. Optus D1 is still up at 152E (>2deg incline) #satellite

Us Australians were finally blessed with an Australian @wtofficial.bsky.social tour earlier in the year, but I am so glad that I went and saw them at Wacken. You haven't lived until you see your favourite band at a MEGA sized gig! It made all the BS with the mud worth it. #woa2025

Waterproof hiking boots have been my best investment for #BelgianGP and #wacken. Happily I haven't had to deploy the gumboots yet!

I'm staying (on my way to #wacken in the hotel next to CCH, site of many Chaos Communucations Congresses. 10 years ago at 31c3 I stood at the doors and saw snow for the first time (I'm Australian, snow is not normal for us). There were a couple of other folks next to me experiencing the same :)

Bit late to tell me about an AirTag, Samsung! (I keep an AirTag in my luggage and carry around an old iPhone to 'track' it. Most of the time the iPhone is off, so my Galaxy S will alert about it sometimes)

It's been a very long time since I've been on a train through Wolfsburg. I love seeing the massive VW factory complex, it basically runs the entire length of the town parallel to the train line and river bank!

Quick stopover in Berlin this morning on the way to F1 (this weekend) and Wacken (next week!). A bit overcast but the walk around Hbf and the Brandenburg Tor was nice

LOL, Qatar Airways Starlink bans reddit and mastodon.social. But PPRuNe (Professional Pilots Rumor Network, famously banned by their neighbours in the UAE) is not. On the other hand, 9/10 IPv6 according to test-ipv6.com!

The #battlefield2042 Dead Space crossover has been really fun over the past week! I finally got the handle on it myself, just hours before the game mode is about to end! (Basically on the last two levels, spam flame grenades...)
