I would be fascinated to know who thought permanently losing things you want to keep is fun, and how on earth they convinced anyone else to jump on board with that idea. Knowing that any time I pick up Hollow Knight, I could come away in a worse state than when I started is such a massive turn-off.

Bunch of kids decided to throw stones at neighbours windows, ring all the buzzers in the building, scream into the void and pee on various cars roughly 5 mins after I told my wife that they all seemed like nice kids (they were hanging out near the building when I took the dog out and came back).

So I've hidden the image for arachnophobes, but I am absolutely freaked out by the size of this house spider. This is in the UK, and we're delicate folks with delicate spiders, and this is not something life has prepared me for. Now to distract myself so I can sleep without my skin crawling.

Visiting my nan in hospital. She said (justifiably) that she believes she's dying, but "it doesn't feel so bad ... & that's nice to know, I think" & that she wanted her daughters to know noone ever had better children.
She then asked if her juice was Mediterranean & said her cheese was too hard.
