"Scrooge" with Albert Finney, 💯 Great music, great acting, great script. Every couple of years I also read Dicken's version. Usually he's so overly descriptive, I have trouble getting through his novels, but since A Christmas Carol is a short story, everything is much tighter.

Yes, I realize that. It's actually classified as "Wild & Scenic River," which comes with environmental protections (at least until Trump tries to eliminate them). There is a section that is off-limits to motorized boats and is very shallow with lots of sandbars--it's great for paddleboarding.

Also: My favorite (local) river... The beautiful St. Croix on the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Ugh. One of my biggest frustrations with mankind is the realization that so many people have to experience awfulness firsthand before they oppose it vs. just learning from history.

Ugh. We look to you guys to be smarter than us. Anything the US govt. endorses right now, you should do the opposite and you'll be okay.
