The people who shape opinion in mainstream media are mostly from the upper middle and wealth classes. They got there because of nepotistic privilege and they keep their jobs, and make more money, because they tell the wealthy what they want to hear, even as that becomes more and more fascistic.

Extreme privilege rots and Trump and his progeny are a living, perfect example. Watching this lump of a person “succeed” because his family had wealth and everything was rigged in his favor, to the point he became president and millions want him as dictator is so nauseating I can barely stand it.
