Congratulations! I have several friends who were diagnosed with one, the other, or both in their late 30s/early 40s, and while I’m not sure how much their lives actually changed, the relief they at just *knowing* was very, very real.

I’m sorry, that sucks. My best friend is a translator too - her work is very specialized (medical/pharmaceutical), so for the moment she’s doing okay, but she can read the writing on the wall.
