Proud to see our investigative report on migration scams in the UK gaining traction in both Nigeria and the UK.

Stories like these matter. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position to bring them to light.

It is crazy when we think of how much damage unsteady power supply does to creatives in the developing world.
It is true we've found ways to cope, but when you equate how much time and creative juice is lost to power outages that happen intermittently across the day, every day, you marvel.

One of the coolest things about publishing a book in Norway is that the gov will automatically buy 1k copies, 1.5K if its a children's book, these will then be distributed to all the libraries.

1. Let's start with my current read: Shigidi and the Brass Head of Obalufon by Wole Talabi
This sexy tome follows the dangerous adventures of Shigidi, a former nightmare god, and his succubus partner Nneoma. Corporatised religion, spirit world power games, and a refreshing narrative structure.

Hey y'all! What are your favorite pieces of SFF short fiction by African authors that you've read this year? The ones that most impressed you?
[To keep things manageable, lets try to limit answers to a maximum of 3 stories and no recommending your own work]
