It definitely feels a little BS that for most of the game you had alliance organizations or cities going neutral and letting the Horde in. From Dalaran to Bel'ameth and Gilneas.

But when we go to Quel'Thelas, then Blizz tightens the rules?

It just stinks.

She was a good villain, but perhaps a bit too good of one. The extent by which she 'got away' passed a fun OOC enemy, long before BFA.

A small nitpick. But you said that the biggest complaint was the Alliance being reactive instead of proactive. The Alliance's story in MoP was also nearly entirely a reactive story. So why are you surprised people did not like MoP?
