This is hard for me to say… but sadly, I think it’s too late to try and fortify the already “crumbled” legacy media institutions. They’ve sold their souls to the oligarchy. This boomer is all in for helping scale up accessibility for accurate, independent and accountable reporting and analysis.
I completely agree. This is my biggest challenge for @democracydocket.com right now. Scaling up to meet the demand for independent, pro-democracy news, information and analysis.

This is hard for me to say… but sadly, I think it’s too late to try and fortify the already “crumbled” legacy media institutions. They’ve sold their souls to the oligarchy. This boomer is all in for helping scale up accessibility for accurate, independent and accountable reporting and analysis.
The jury is still out as to whether the Oligarchs own American values and whether a majority of Americans have the stones to stand up and fight against them.
Oligarchs now own:
- the incoming President
- the majority of the Supreme Court
- half of Congress
- most of legacy and social media
They do not own:
- most of the American people
- our values
- our hope for better days...for all
This is our ground zero for the rebellion.

The press isn’t “free” like it once was. Reporters aren’t free to report well researched and documented facts. The “press” is really a conglomerate of commercial communications mediums owned by billionaire propagandists. Yet we can’t seem to look away…from the 10 car pile up it really has become.

I feel the same way. How could so many of the educated, accomplished people I know have fallen for this man’s “act”. Could it have something to do with an over reliance on what used to be legitimate media sources for accurate, well sourced and unbiased reporting?
Somehow, after all these years, the sheer vacuousness still floors me.
