Brisco County Jr! One season 27 episodes. That’s like 4 seasons today on streaming.
Those castle ones were the bomb!
I thought those were beer cans until I zoomed in.
In Sudbury, MA it’s now a drive thru coffee stand.
I thought it was like 10pm it was 7:30. Blurg.
@hpsvanessa.bsky.social I saw you post about your grandfather being at Belsen my grandfather was also at Belsen as part of the British Army that liberated it. He most likely had PTSD as a result as he had a profound hatred of German Shepards as a result of his time there. That’s skimming the surface
Wait The Bills lost to Miami? wtf?
My oldest is getting their wisdom teeth out and asked me “Didn’t you watch Judge Judi when you had yours out?” I then said “No, I watched Judge Dredd starring Sylvester Stallone and it was amazing cuz I was on Percocets for the pain.”
I had a lefty hippy teacher who voted for Nixon cuz he promised to end the war in Vietnam that’s the level of ignorance we’re dealing with now in our parents generation with AI. My kids are made for this century cuz they believe nothing.
And your points are valid too but my god my parents generation is so naive.
They’re a tough generation in that they fall for things so easily. I grew up believing to be skeptical where as they got raised with everything is great!
And before AI they were falling for fake news stories in email chains that I had to debunk. They were raised with the idea that the media doesn’t lie to them. Walter Cronkite was the most trusted man in America so why would any other news person lie to them?
I fought tooth and nail with my parents generation to bring them into modern tech when I was younger and it just didn’t happen. Hell, my FIL is blown away by street hustlers in cities and happily gives them money. It’s like a whole generation wants to be lied to.
I’ve heard this “Why would they go to all that effort if it wasn’t true?”
They were also raised with the phrase “A picture never lies.” Pre-photoshop days where as we came of age with questioning imagery cuz it could be manipulated to look real when it was fake.
That’s hysterical! I’ve never seen those before!
I was a huge A-Team fan but never owned any figures or vehicles. They never crested a foe for them so I didn’t see the point of getting the figures.
