It seems like our “project” has changed. I feel next season with Manning it is all about getting promoted and it’s now less about blending in youngsters. Manning is clearly ambitious and with a couple of decent summer signings I think he’ll get a tune out of this squad.

Jacob Wright however looked like he’s definitely playing here next season. Waving at the Barclay touching the badge etc.

Hammering Cardiff might help his cause.

I think every Norwich fan would be stunned if Jack Wilshere doesn’t get the head coaches full time next week. Strangely after his press conferences etc I’ve warmed to him getting the job especially if he can attract some experience in his back room staff.

My Dad went, he’s 72

He’s 33/1 as well

He obviously didn’t want to be here but I totally agree. He’d have played a big part this season as backup to Sarge.

McConville to start, no George Long and no Marcondes
April 26, 2025 at 1:02 PM
Ha ha, Gunn is back so I’d assume he’s starting?

The Daily Mail are reporting that Leeds are due to sack him and appoint a new manager before next season

I doubt he was in the initial betting list.

My money is on Wilshire TBH

Steven Gerrard 14/1
Wayne Rooney 25/1
Chris Hughton 33/1
John Terry 33/1
Gareth Southgate 33/1

One thing is for sure, at FCR before Christmas we played some really decent stuff and scored some cracking goals. Lots of goals. I’m not sure publicly dropping Duffy and Onel was ever going to end well. Maybe the job was just too big for them at this point in their careers?

Or do we go for a number 2 or coach at one of the Prem clubs like Ipswich did?

Or will we scour the world and then permanently appoint Wilshire?
