Aye. The word Cathartic sprang out at me like the old ginger that chased me up a tree when I was a very small child. (It delighted in springing out at ankles!)

You can't spell Cathartic without at least two cats. There's a spot of water dribbling from the corner of my eye now.
Lovely article.

"The Aunt Belinda Management Agency". It sounds a bit like a book-title of the Alexander McCall Smith kind!

Why was I so angered about his post when I am a Trek fan at heart?
(Had never heard of him before and hate that this rage bait worked on me!)

I like Rogue One. Thought of it more as a standalone film outside the main canon, that just happened to dovetail gorgeously with the OG Star Wars movie.

I could tell you off today instead, if it helps? ;)

I want to say Castlevania? (1986) - in terms of the first one I ever encountered. Followed by Pong (Atari)

I remember a helicopter flying overhead as I sat one of my bursary exams. It was only later that I found out why.

Requesting that you strike the 'appalling' word from your description until such a time as you consciously attempt to draw things of appalling nature! *finger guns*

Cannot unsee the cover as a knock-off of the Harry Potter franchise.

Extraordinarily helpful! It never occurred to me that I could get an external monitor for my phone. (I do little commentaries with a puppet, for fun., and had been using the facing camera lens just so I could see it while I puppeteered.)
The external mic' likewise valuable to know. Much appreciated!

Oh wonderful! I was just thinking about that very event this morning - my Grandmother, at the age of about 4, got lost there for a couple of hours as a little girl!

The Louvre of Children's art. With one room set aside with a series of large and small easels, a selection of basic coloured chalks and paints, play-doh, ice-cream containers filled with water and soap flakes, with straws for the blowing thereof. Because grown-up only means you have become "taller."

Sympathies from cloud clad Auckland. Am thinking of making a trip south out of town, if conditions improve, in the wee small hours. A possibility of a chance if it flares up to lofty 8 heights again at 4 a.m. Good luck to you in there!

Bonus picture of the portion of the house that has been outside my windows for the past 25 years, narrowly squeaking by the telephone pole on the way out.

Mince & tatties ftw. Swedes (rutabaga?) were our "neeps". (Southland, NZ.) A warm bed on a chill night with the sound of adults talking/telly watching, and solid warming food. I reckon that was the safe one, or I'd not have my own teary eyes right now, like a daftie!
