I've had this on CD for like a year now and only now got around to seriously listening to it and this is great. Minimal, moody, futuristic ambient techno with lots of soul. Somewhere between detroit techno and early IDM, similar to artists like B12 or Stasis.

This Faye Wong album is so good. Just checked the credits and it just lists Cocteau Twins as producer. That explains so much.

Damon Wild - Pleasure Builder; Sonic Groove, 2024
Fairly standard minimal techno. Cold soundscapes + tunneling beats. "Sea Dweller" is a good electro track that breaks up the tedium. "Bittersweet" adds needed colour to the LPs gray world. Otherwise this had a hard time keeping my attention

A mixed bag. Interesting archival material, but not every experiment stuck the landing for me. Some pretty ambient/new-agey cuts here. The more rhythmic and droney tracks didn't do a whole lot for me.
