Definately a movie that would never get made today, for a wide variety of reasons

Just watched that recently after being on my watch list for 3 decades, amazing movie

The Venn diagram of people who appreciate both the works of Ken Loach and those of Pete Walker was frankly never very big in the first place, but it’s getting smaller all the time

Well we both know neither of us see that as a pejorative term

I wear my ‘schlock appreciation’ badge with pride

Liking because you’re are out, not because of the local hospital needlessly increasing your daily commute

Love the implication that David Lynch movies are mostly not surreal

Such a good record, also been playing on repeat. Great duet with Ethel Cain too (who would make a great guest on your podcast)

Really looking forward to this one. Rewatched the movie, and it was way weirder than I remembered it.
