Many leftists need to reckon with the way they are perceived, and how unwittingly divisive their behaviour is at times. It is what is driving younger men, from all racial blocs out of the left wing party. They only want a leader that actively pushes back against this force of hivemind thought

It doesn't matter whether you speak truth or fiction as long as you stay inside the very narrow bubble of progressive orthodoxy.

I will be forever wondering

Pepe is NOT a political meme. The killer has been confirmed left wing by the Utah Governor and is living with his trans partner. Closet groyper is at best a 0.1% possibility based on the information that's been released so far

I want the Charlie Kirk killer found and prosecuted quickly so we can all go back to talking about this

Israel's approach to Gaza has 8% support amongst democrats. All time low levels of support. Outside on an election year it is untenable for a democratic President to be so far out of step of their base

At least the politicians actually bothered to try and sell the spin in 2003. In 2025 they offer nothing and leave it for the media to invent the spin for them.

The problem is if you don't fit 100% into the little blue bubble you end up giving up and leaving.

More cause for self reflection amongst the left

It sucks that this is true. But bluesky was built in a world where cancel culture was an imaginary demon of the right rather than a social movement that genuinely did go too far and cost democrats significantly in voter backlash.

The question is what the median voters think and I suspect the answer is despite Trump's huge flaws he's delivering on many of the areas they elected him for
June 4, 2025 at 2:41 AM
And yet the voters decided this was the bigger concern

If only the Bluesky silo could see it
June 3, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Bluesky has an unfortunately worsening reputation for intolerance.

They're a whole movement now

He voted against this trend. It was a very bad situation and it's not unreasonable that many people were concerned about it.

I'd love to know the size difference between Twitter and @bsky.app in terms of real, good faith human users. I think the gap is much smaller than any data based metric would suggest because real human interactions on X are now a rarity.

Seeing the below I think AUS should be cancelling any money flowing towards US technology. They just cannot rely on the US to be 100% an ally rather than one that would be content with the "big guys" conquering the earth.

The one good thing about difficult times is that they bring out the best in good people... Bravo Steffen Berr!

Something that hasn't been talked about enough in this is that Vance triggered Trump. It's bad that he knows how to do this and will be doing it for 4 years for a whole bunch of terrible purposes.
March 3, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Are you sure you don't just hate the PR of it? Zelensky floated this idea in September under the Biden administration.
February 22, 2025 at 3:15 AM
This entire story arc is "the way the world works and has always worked" being packaged into a dramatic "art of the deal" narrative that gives Trump a plausible reason to NOT capitulate to Putin on Ukraine. You should decide if that's good or bad and act accordingly.

Zelensky reached out with this proposal last year. Ask yourself if you're only against it because you're looking at it through the lens of association with Trump
